There are some relationships that last a lifetime.  Richard Mueller would describe his relationship to the ocean and being a waterman as one of them.  Richard (known as "Rick" to friends) has always had a profound passion for the ocean and all things that go along with it: sailing, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving and, especially, surfing.  Rick has formed a deep connection to any sport that brings him out on the water.

A Natural Connection

Because Rick has been a waterman for so many years, he understands the ocean in a way that could only be described as "instinct".  As a dedicated surfer, when he's out on his board, he is completely connected to the experience.  So much so, that he can often predict what the waves will do.  This level of focus and awareness out on the water exemplifies how completely attuned Rick is to his surroundings.

However, Rick brings this type of insight to all his endeavors, particularly in his relationships with the people in his life.  He believes a strong connection with others is the key to success, both personally and professionally.  A committed husband and father, Rick's good at establishing bonds with family and friends and these ties mean the world to him.

 Rick's Roots Run Deep

Rick is the son of an IBM computer executive who moved his family six times while Rick was growing up.  From this experience, Rick truly understands real estate both sides of the table.  In addition, Rick's grandfather and mentor, Richard Keilholtz (a waterman himself), established Richard Keilholtz Real Estate in 1951.  From there, the family built their longstanding ties in the community, which Rick continues to foster today.

Becoming a licensed real estate professional in 1976 and a licensed broker in 1979, Rick has earned a reputation for connecting well with his clients.  Rick's success has hinged on his ability to make people feel informed and at ease.  And with his years of experience in the industry, you can expect a greater level of expertise and true commitment to excellence.
